Logos[]

1st logo: Against a black background, we see this:

Starting up...>_

WARNING! This will be the last version of Windows.

R.I.P. Windows (1985-4000000001 EEE+++)

It sits there until the startup ends.

Variants[]

There are many variants in this logo:

  • Sometimes, the Centaurosoft logo can be seen at the bottom right corner.
  • There are also various editions, such as PLUS!, Embedded, EUR Edition, and so on, which also features the edition name next to the title.
    • We even have the time travel edition, which was made in 2001.
    • There's also an AD Build Gigantrum Duo-Millenithium, which is basically the same as Windows XP.
  • The startup screen is sometimes arranged differently.
  • The end-of-life variant is basically the same, but it has "R.I.P. Windows Final" and "4000000001 EEE+++ - 8000000001 EEE+++" at the bottom of it, and the colours are inverted.
  • The YOH (Years of Hell) variants have the text in red.
  • The YOD variants have the text in dark grey.
  • The True Final version is COMPLETELY different, with different text all in a dark grey colour.
  • "Windows" is sometimes replaced with "Win"

2nd logo: We see the text "Windows Final ∞" with a glowing infinity symbol at the back. The Centaurosoft logo is seen at the top right corner and copyright info is seen at the bottom.

Music/Sounds[]

1st logo: A sad, slow, low-pitched version of the Windows 2006 startup and shutdown sound and a whoosh.

Music/Sounds Variants[]

  • It's commonly replaced with a dark, fast, echoing synth piece.
  • The end-of-life variant's sounds are more depressing, darker and lower pitched.
  • The AD Build Gigantrum Duo-Millenithium's startup is basically the same as Windows XP's
  • The true end variant is the same as the Windows XP music, but sadder, darker, lower-pitched, slower, more ominous and heavily scratched.

2nd logo: Same as the Sega Dreamcast logo, but echoed.

Scare Factor[]

1st logo: Depends

  • High to nightmare for the normal variants. The darkness followed by the depressing message of Windows dying, sombre/creepy music and whoosh at the end is sure to scare people.
  • High to nightmare for the different music variant. The different music is bound to surprise some, and the fact that it also sounds ominous doesn't help at all.
  • High for the time travel variant, as we still got the darkness and music. However, it's much tamer due to the absense of the message of Windows dying.
  • None to minimal for the AD Build Gigantrum Duo-Millenithium variant, as it's basically the same as Windows XP.
  • High to nightmare for the end-of-life variant, because of the depressing message and scarier, sadder music.
  • Nightmare for the YOH and YOD variants, as the red text for the YOH variants and darkness of the YOD variants makes this worse.
  • Nightmare, or even off the scale for the true end. The depressing, eerie, scratched, low-pitched music combined with the darkness, sombre message and the universe dying only makes things even worse, and will definitely scare many. In fact, it might be the scariest WNR screen of all time.

2nd logo: Low to high. It might scare some due to the music, but those who understand the Sega Dreamcast should have less of a problem. The startup screen also looks somewhat cool. Overall, this is a lot tamer than before.

Trivia[]

Centaursoft, the company that made the OS, is a fanmade company that replaced Microsoft.

Video[]
