Logo[]
On a gold background, we pan through the text "Feature PRESENTATION". (The text looks identical to the JCPENNEY font.) Then, 2 murky blue boxes with an orange rectangle slide in from either side. The text Feature shines, and 4 white-yellow lines zoom and slide through the side of the text.
Variant[]
A custom variant exists on some releases from 2001-05. In this variant, on a dusk background, we see a CGI version of Cinderella Castle on a cloud, with fireworks exploding. We zoom in and through the entrance at the same time as some stars. A large firework goes off in the center of the screen, while circles of filmstrips spin around, with a still image of a certain Disney/Pixar film on each frame. A circle of stars spins at the top of it. The filmstrips and circle of stars then go down as the text "FEATURE PRESENTATION", in gold (and in the same font as the 1st CGI FP bumper from the 1998 Masterpiece Collection VHS release of The Little Mermaid), comes up from the bottom of the screen. After the "FEATURE PRESENTATION" text moves up to the center of the screen, several fireworks fly up and explode behind the text.
Music/Sounds[]
A synthesized tune, culminating in a drumroll. An announcer says "And now, our feature presentation".
Music/Sounds Variant[]
The custom variant had a loud, majestic fanfare with a change in pitch at the very end. The announcer is absent.
Scare Factor[]
Main Bumper[]
None to low. The announcer and music might startle someone. Nonetheless, this is considered to be one of Dinsey's most memorable bumpers, due its stand out animation from the other bumpers, and a gorgeous musical piece.
Custom Variant[]
Low to medium. The fanfare and the fast pace can catch some viewers off guard, especially those who were usually expecting the main variant, but it's a harmless bumper really. It could worsen if those viewers fear the THX logo on THX-certified tapes, as either it or the 2000 modified screen usually follows this bumper. Though it is lower for those used to it.
