Logos[]
1st logo (1989-1992)[]
On a black background, we see the blue text "VIDEΩMEGA ENTERTAINMENT" flip towards the center of the screen as it zooms in with choppy motion. "VIDEΩMEGA" is set in a large font and the first "E" and "M" in "VIDEΩMEGA" are italicised. "ENTERTAINMENT" is much smaller and is beneath the former text. A black square with the RCA/Columbia Pictures International Video logo swoops down from the Omega symbol and covers it.
Variant[]
In 1991, after the text flips in it simply cuts to the RCA/Columbia logo.
2nd logo (1992)[]
We see the VideΩmega text from before (this time in aquamarine) swooping down from the top of the screen leaving behind some particles. It settles down in the center and a large slash forms beneath it.
Music/Sounds[]
1st logo[]
A droning theme with some beeps thrown in.
2nd logo[]
A synth theme with a whoosh sound when the slash is formed below the logo.
Scare Factor[]
1st logo[]
Depending on the variant.
- Original Version: Low to high. The dark, ominous animation, coupled with the creepy droning synth music, can cause some scares.
- Second Version: Medium to high. The jarring cut to the RCA/Columbia Pictures logo makes it more scarier.
2nd logo[]
Minimal to low; it's much better than before.
