V2V Productions (Video to Video Productions) was a Canadian home video distribution company.
Logo (1984-1990)[]
Visuals: On a gray background, two dark maroon V’s are seen, along with a trapezoid shaped 2 in the middle between the two V’s. Dark maroon sans serif text “PRODUCTIONS” zooms in below it.
Variant: On the release of Blue Murder, the same two V’s, now colored gray (the second one darker) slides in from the left and right with trail effects, along with the “2” sliding up from above, followed by “PRODUCTIONS” fading in below. The logo is set over a black background.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: None, on the release of Blue Murder, a dreamy synth pad decreasing in pitch is heard.
| Media Title | Date of Release | Additional Notes |
|---|---|---|
| The Highroller | 1984 | |
| Ladybear | 1985 | |
| Survival Earth | 1985 | |
| Blue Murder | 1985 | |
| The Bounty Hunters | 1985 |
Scare Factor: None to low, the logo’s design can be weird to some. Low to medium, the darker background, along with the music is more eerie than the original variant.
