Background[]
TV Rio Turiaçu is a Brazilian television station based in Santa Helena, in the state of Maranhão.
1st Ident (2011-2012)[]
Visuals: It begins with aerial footage of a river and a town (possibly Santa Helena), including a bridge and a town square with a church. The name "TV RIO TURIAÇU" appears on the ground in a stylized, blocky font, with the camera moving toward a white church-like building. The ident transitions to a spinning orb with red, blue, and green wavy lines, appears over a shot of a boat on a river. The text "TV RIO TURIAÇU" is at the bottom, and a few seconds later, "CANAL 11" and "Em fase experimental" (In experimental phase) fade in.
Technique: Live-action mixed with Computer animation.
Audio: A hopeful, cinematic-style instrumental theme, featuring a melodic synth or piano line. The music gradually builds in complexity and intensity, adding layers of strings and a rising, airy sound effect. A distinct whooshing sound is heard, followed by a final, dramatic flourish in the music. The instrumental then fades, and a brazil male announcer saying "TV Rio Turiaçu".
Scare Factor: None to medium.
