Background[]
Spiffy Pictures is an American -based production company founded by brothers David and Adam Rudman, both of whom (specifically the former) are known for their work on Sesame Street. The company centers around producing shows for children and adults and are known for their puppetry work. The company was founded in 2001.
Logo 1[]
(2003-2009): On a yellow background, we see a circle with a white face with a grin and a thick outline, along with 2 ears and black hair with a beret on it jumping in, and on the top of the circle saying: "SPIFFY" and the bottom saying: "PICTURES" The face says "Spiffy!" and winks.
Variants[]
- A short variant has the face only saying "Spiffy!" as the sting plays. This was seen in Bunnytown, and Doby & Disy and Sago Mini Friends.
- The Silly Show version has the face saying "SPA'GAWK!" like a chicken, one episode of Rocky and Bullwinkle had the same variant.
- The Jack's Big Music Show episode Spunky the Alien and one episode of the logo Show has the face saying "Swinky!"
- Many remakes show an extended version where we see the same normal logo until 3 seconds and the face smiles.
Music/Sounds[]
A 2-note accordion jingle followed by the animal's dialogue (voiced by David Rudman) and two dings as he winks.
Scare Factor[]
None to minimal. The face talking, the accordion jingle and zooming will probably surprise and annoy a few viewers, but it's a cute and funny logo and a favorite of many viewers.
Logo 2[]
(2016-present): Same as the previous logo, but it was remade with new animation, a different font for the logo's text (to match the website logo), and the oval zooms in. But the overall concept of the original logo were kept the same.
Variants[]
- A short variant appears on Nature Cat, the final two seasons of Crank Yankers, Cozy Coupe, and Donkey Hodie. The logo begins as normal, but the face doesn't say anything and just winks.
Music/Sounds[]
Same as before.
Music/Sounds Variant[]
On Nature Cat and Donkey Hodie, the ending theme is heard.
Trivia[]
- This logo is famous for making bloopers of the logo.
- A YouTuber made an old version of the logo, where it plays a piano instead of the accordion, and the sound of "Spiffy!" sounds a bit younger. (It was made in Dreams PS4/PS5)
- Moonlight Rose is considered to be the partially lost song because nobody has ever heard of this song, but 1 person heard it and liked it so the person used that song to make a new variant. The song came from the 2013 Disney series "Mickey Mouse", specifically in the episode Down The Hatch, where Mickey and Goofy mess with Donald's vocal cords, making him sing.
