Seamair Físeán (or Clover Video) in English, was an Irish Betamax Producer founded in 1929 in Dublin as The Clover Magnetic Tape Manufacturer. It would then be renamed to Clover Video or Seamair Físeán when they switched to Betamax in 1976. In 1979, the company celebrated their 50th Birthday. Sadly in 1981, Time-Life Video acquired it and renamed it to Vestron Video.
Logos[]
1st logo (1976-1981)[]
We see the colors orange and pastel green flash rapidly, as The Words Seamair and Físeán flash rapidly with the colors. The colors then stop flashing as they cut in half. With the top orange, and the bottom pastel green. And with Seamair Pastel Green, and Físeán Orange, making a good effect.
2nd logo (1976-1981, Print)[]
On a white background, we see a Pastel Green S and a Orange F.
Variants[]
- On the 50th Anniversary Logo, It does not flash. It just does the final 15 seconds of the logo (Note: Logo is 19 Seconds Long), but a white 50 in the center.
- On horror releases, it's tinted purple.
- On B-Movie Releases, it's tinted yellow.
- On Sci-Fi releases, it's tinted blue.
- And the closing logo has the logo in reverse.
Music/Sounds[]
1st logo[]
The Same as Toppic Video.
2nd logo[]
TBA.
Music/Sounds Variants[]
The 50th Anniversary variant used the same music as Toppic Video (just like the last one), but with no scream.
Scare Factor[]
1st logo[]
Nightmare. The flashing, the scream, and the cheesy animation will either scare people or give people a seizure.
Variants[]
It depends:
- 50th Anniversary: None. With no scream, no flashing, and no cheesy animation, it's a fine 50 Year Logo.
- Nightmare for the other variants.
