Radical Sheep Logo History - Evologo -Evolution of Logo-

Radical Sheep Productions is a children's television series production company. Founded by Rob Mills in 1985, the company once owned the 'sheep shop' which provided puppet construction until 2002. John Leitch is now the manager of the production company, being a executive producer through many of the (Canadian) shows. Their most famous television show, The Big Comfy Couch is notably a favorite among both Canada and The U.S. Many Children were horrified by the closing credits, a few different bumpers usually at the end of the series' VHS tapes. The three were know as; The PO box, Owl Communications and Radical Sheep. Arguably, Radical Sheep was the scariest of them all. With the bold and glistening text and darkened background, a twinkly nursery rhyme would play over it and worsen the anxiety of the young viewer as young as four. The logo hadn't changed, staying the same until 2002. The only real difference is the background may appear darker, depending on the quality of the tape.

The second variant is less memorable but still nostalgic to some, younger than people born in the 1990s. The second has a lighter, blue background with a graphic of a rocking chair and sheep hybrid with angel wings. The text is shrunken and updated to a y2k-esque, early millennium style. The second logo evolved with better quality, apparently changing somewhere in 2010 to the version that exists today. It is just the same graphic and text but with a white background and change of music. The other few variants will never be or feel the same as the first, as watching TV on a grainy VHS is considered vintage.
