Scary Logos Wiki

[]

(1974-1986): On a dark background, we see two candles. Suddenly we see a purple smoke, and after a red smoke we see the shadow of a religious statue (supposed to be Kartikeya, also known as Murughan, who gives the name of the company), à la the 2nd Saravan Films logo. The lights are turned up and we see the statue, which inside a big red circle where we can read "muRGHaN ENTERPRISE" in golden letters. The statue is also above a white circle. The circle contains an elephant with three heads (which resembles the national emblem of India) on a red background. The candles are on the right and the left of the circle with the elephant. The smoke continues moving inside the big red circle, behind the statue, witch is now yellow-orange, the color of the original fire.

Variants[]

  • Dard uses a dark night with stars and galaxies moving. The Murghan logo is off-centered, because it stands more to the right.
  • Paap Aur Punya: Same as the original variant, but it's still and with a thin fog instead the smoke.
  • Gautam Govinda: Same as the original, however, the red flames are brighter and there's more blue flames.
  • Begaana: Same as the original, except the flames are replaced with white smoke.

Music/Sounds[]

(1974-1986): A ominous and very sinister swarmandal melody followed by a Hindu mantra sung by a male chorus.

Music/Sounds Variants[]

  • On Dard, the logo is silent.
  • On Paap Aur Punya, there's a melody with a sitar.

Scare Factor[]

(1974-1986): It depends on the variant:

  • Original Version: Medium to nightmare. The creepy music, spooky nature, and the orange smoke give off a hellish vibe to the logo, which will likely scare lots of people. It also has some similarities to Manish Films, which would also scare a lot of unaware viewers.
  • Dard Version: Low to high. This variant feels very different from the original, with a space vibe instead of a hellish one. The galaxy stars of the logo may lower it for some people.
  • Paap Aur Punya Version: Low to medium. The creepy statue along with the fog will still spook some, but its a lot tamer due to the relaxing sitar music.
  • Gautam Govinda Version: Medium to high. The music is still the same, but the different colored flames makes it less scary.
  • Begaana Version: Medium to high, as the white smoke makes it a bit more calming.
