1st logo (2009-2011)[]
On a purple background, there is a light-purple, pixelated, abstract object, which looks like a C-shaped dragon. Under it are the words "Mojang Specifications" in a white blocky font.
2nd logo (2011-2013)[]
On a white background, we see the aforementioned pixelated object, now white and inside an red box. Under it is the orange word "MOJANG".
3rd logo (2011-2013)[]
On a white background, we still see the abstract object, albeit no longer pixelated. Directly to the right of the object is the word "MOJANG".
Variants[]
There are lots of different logo variants depending on what texture/resource pack you use, the texture pack support starts at Beta 1.8 and at 1.6.1, it became obsolete and replaced with the new resource pack support.
4th logo (2013-2020)[]
On a white background, we still see the red rounded square with top-right and bottom-left corners untamed, with the abstract object inside, on its side, the word "MOJANG" in new corporate font.

5th logo (2020-)[]
On a red background, six weird shapes, known as Mojangs of the shapes turning a few times. then, once they stop turning, they each show "MOJANG" in an unusual typeface, with "STUDIOS" below.
Variant[]
A still version exists. In A Minecraft Movie, the logo starts with, on a black background, a creeper heading towards a giant creeper face and touching it. They both flash, and then explode into the white gizmos on a red background and for the original ident to play out.

A synth theme with some sound effects, ending with the Minecraft exp. sound. None for the still version. For the A Minecraft Movie variant, eerie music plays when the creeper enters, followed by sounds of the explosion and the gizmos arranging themselves, and finally the original synth theme and sound effects.
