(1982-1985): In a rocky landscape, we see a bubbly pool of water. We zoom in on it and a dragon statue rises and rotates. The dragon shoots fire as we fade to a red background with a black, abstract, segmented "MAV" and the name fades in below. After all of that, the entire thing then fades to black.
Music/Sounds[]
A loud, descending synth drone that begins to quietly and slowly rise before the fireball, which is impacted with an echoing gong hit. Another loud, high-pitched quickly descending drone plays as we get closer to the dragon, which then warbles. As the logo fades, a loud, descending synth whoosh is heard.
Scare Factor[]
High to nightmare. The dark dragon, the ominous music, and the sudden appearance of the in-your-face fireball can scare quite a lot of viewers. This may very well be one of the scariest home video logos ever made. Though yet again, it's lower to those used to it, and is also another favourite to some.
