Background[]
The MGM of Doom is a YouTube video by "MGM of Doom" being a lion roar logo.
Logo[]
There is the 2nd half of the 2020 20th Century Studios logo, then at the end of the 20th Century Studios logo, Leo the Lion, à la the 2021 MGM logo, fades in fast and crashes the screen. When the screen cracks, the logo glitches and pixelates. Afterwards, it zooms out, brightening the screen. Then after it zooms out, the logo fades out and stops glitching and pixelating. The MGM logo is still broken in pieces.
Variants/Formats[]
There is a widescreen version, a cinemascope version, and a fullscreen version.
Music/Sounds[]
When the 20th Century Studios logo plays, the second half of the 1997 20th Century Fox fanfare, at the end of the 20th Century Studios logo, Leo the Lion fades in and there is a glass shattering sound, along with a slightly slow and really loud version of the 1995 roar while the majestic orchestral fanfare of the 2021 MGM logo plays.
Scare Factor[]
Minimal to medium. In spite of the fact that the 20th Century Studios logo isn't terrifying, the MGM Lion roar can be a major issue for those who can't stand roaring lions. The pixelating and glitching can be unnerving to people. However, it's not as frightening as the BND of Doom logo. It can be funny for people.
