Logos[]

1st logo (1987-1989?)[]

On a starry background, a spinning film reel fades in. The filmstrip then comes out of the film reel and slowly writes the script "Ingear", which shines. Once the filmstrip stops writing the text, and a star flashes at the end of it. "Ingear" keeps on shining, while the English and Chinese names in pink fade in below and also shine.

Variants[]

There exists a dark variant and a bright variant.

2nd logo (1989?-1994)[]

On a similar starry background, several bright lights in group fade in, zoom out, and flash, bringing up a neon film reel that's different from the one from before. The film reel moves to the left with a trail and flashes, filling it up with a metallic material. The golden filmstrip comes out of the real, making the "Ingear" from before. The English name zooms out with blue lights in front, and the lights move to the text, making it flash. The Chinese characters appear below the name letter-by-letter, and also flash.

Music/Sounds[]

[]

A slow ascending synth theme, with a high-pitched sound while the last note plays, followed by a random, sci-fi synth.

[]

A bombastic synth fanfare with drums.

Music/Sounds Variant[]

There was a variant with the audio copied from the 1st logo, but low-pitched.

Scare Factor[]

1st logo[]

Medium to high. The dark atmosphere of the logo and the ominous synth music will unsettle a lot, especially those who are expecting the next logo.

2nd logo[]

Low to medium. The sudden start, the flashing effects and the bombastic synth fanfare along with the dark atmosphere can unnerve a few, but this is a favorite among Hong Kong logo fans, and it's also a little bit tamer than the previous logo.
