Logos[]
1st logo (1986 - 1988)[]
On a black background, we see the blue words "HARDCORE" in a big computerized font, slowly wiping in, piece by piece with dots. The colors then flash. The word "VIDEO" wipes in, also in yellow, piece by piece with dots, although in a much slower pace. The image consisting of the male and female gender symbols draw in next to "VIDEO", in red. The word "PRESENTA" in green, but in a different font, slowly wipes in. The text's colors flashes.
2nd logo (1988 - 1990)[]
We zoom out from a space grid background with shooting stars. The cyan and pink rectangles, which are parts of the logo move in from the vertical sides and the green triangle part zooms out, forming the result, which looks like the letter "H". The text "Hardcore Video" in blue fades in, which later fading to "Presenta su catalogo".
Variant[]
When the company name changed to High Quality Film & Video in 1989, the logo freezes before the text appears, and the word "HIGH QUALITY", in yellow, along with "FILM & VIDEO" below, appear underneath the logo.
3rd logo (1990 - 1992)[]
We see a starry black/blue background. Suddenly, we see two filmstrips on the left section of the screen: the blue one at the right rotates from the upper portion of the screen, and the red one rotates from the lower portion. After that, we see a green scalene triangle rotate from the upper left portion of the screen to form the letter "H" for "High Quality". Then, we see 4 square grids appear and merge into a bigger square grid, being behind the H. Finally, a set of text zooms in and fades in, consisting:
High·Quality
Film~&~Video S.R.L
Presenta
su catálogo
Music/Sounds[]
1st logo: An excerpt of "Horizon" by Jon & Vangelis.
2nd logo: A bunch of descending warbling sounds, part of the song "Frankenstein" by The Edgar Winter Group. It was shortened in later releases.
3rd logo: Same as the 2nd Hardcore Film Video logo.
Scare Factor[]
1st logo: None, but the scare factor rises with the next logo...
2nd logo: Medium to nightmare. It depends on what you think of that horrible and loud music. The cheesiness may lower down the scare factor though.
3rd logo: Same as before. The ugly font may contribute as well.
