(October 10, 2000-May 21, 2012): Set on a stage, we see a small figurine of a ballerina and a man dancing and twirling around. Then a human foot wearing a shoe stomps on the couple, crushing it. Then, "HeeL & Toe" (in white, and in a strangely-arranged Times font) appears next to the shoe.

Variant[]

  • A short version exists on House, M.D.
  • The logo would come in either the standard 4:3 version (seen on full-screen prints) or the widescreen 16:9 version.

Music/Sounds[]

A music box rendition of "Für Elise" plays as the dancing ballerina turns and a "stomp" sound as the couple is crushed. A squishing sound is also played as the foot comes down.

Music Sounds/Variants[]

  • A short version has only the 3 notes of "Fur Elise" played and leaves the squishing sound intact.
  • ABC airings of Gideon's Crossing use a generic theme and leaves the squishing sound intact.

Scare Factor[]

Low to high. The sudden stomp and shoe crushing the figurine can startle more than a few, otherwise, it's a humorous logo.
