Logo[]
(2005-2010): On a vignetted white background, we see a pair of red lips, letting out a laugh. The camera zooms out as we see a large, crudely-done cyan circle, with the Fox logo at the top of the giant text "REALITY", with "ORIGINAL" under "ITY". The mouth morphs into the "O" of "ORIGINAL", and the word zooms in as the logo is finished.
Music/Sounds[]
A laugh that vaguely resembles Goofy's holler, followed by a whoosh and a set of 2 clangs that repeats 3 times. A static sound is heard at the end.
Music/Sounds Variant[]
The short version cuts out the laugh.
Scare Factor[]
Depending on the variant:
- Opening Variant: Medium to nightmare. The screaming and laughing lips are bound to scare and catch you off-guard. The sounds afterward could freak some out as well. The fact that this was placed at the beginning of Fox Reality shows without any warning whatsoever only makes it worse.
- Closing Variant: Low to medium. The sounds could still freak some out, but the lip animation is cut out, thus making it much tamer.
Trivia[]
- The lips are actually done by using lipstick to perform the logo.
