Scary Logos Wiki

Logos[]

1st logo (1950's)[]

On an Asian texture background, there is the name, with a major part of it being placed in style of an arc.

2nd logo (1960's-1969)[]

On a blue/pink background, there are two Fenghuangs on the top corners of the screen. There is the company name between them, even bigger in size than before.

3rd logo (October 23, 1969-April 8, 1982)[]

On a black/red gradient, there are two Fenghuangs (Chinese mythological Phoenixes also known as Ho-o in Japan which are the Female counterparts of the Dragon ) from both sides of the screen. In between them there's the company name, with "凤凰" at the top and bigger than the other letters, and the other text seen below it.

Music/Sounds[]

[]

None.

[]

  • A chemise-sounding orchestrated fanfare is usually used.
  • On a few occasions, this logo used a frighteningly dark fanfare along with a somewhat a bit loud shrill sound heard at the 1st half which can be also heard on the another logo.

[]

The original fanfare from the previous logo.

Scare Factor[]

1st logo[]

None to low. It's just harmless and cheaply boring logo. However, the scare factor rises with the next logo.

2nd logo[]

It depends on the logo variant, really:

  • Low to high for the regular variant. For those who aren't used to this logo, they would be caught off-guard by its over-the-top design, which creates an really ominous and sinister nature for it. The music is smoothing to listen to however, but the next variant worsens it...
  • High to nightmare for the alternative fanfare variant, even if you're not expecting to hear it; with that frighteningly dark fanfare and the ominous and sinister nature of this logo being still present here; all of it makes this logo up for one of the most scariest still logos ever made (along with the A.K.A Cartoon's Boo Haw Haw logo variant).

3rd logo[]

Minimal to medium. The bit friendly-looking design makes more accessible to look at, although it can still look unappealing to some. Still tamer than the last logo though.
