Scary Logos Wiki

Background[]

Echo Media Film • Télévision is the successor to the former Quebec-based animation studio, Spectra Animation.

(2012-2021): On a black background, we see white text spinning very fast, and then it stops really fast. It shows the text "echo", and "MEDIA" is tilted sideways by a red trapezoid that is lined. The text "film •télévision" is shown beneath in between two lines. The logo flashes, then it fades out.

Music/Sounds[]

Three very fast whooshing sounds for when the text spins, a resounding bang for when it stops, and then a robot beep and squelch played simultaneously for when the logo flashes.

Music/Sounds Variants[]

On 19-2, it uses the Bell Media music.

On Toon-A-Vision's prints of Toopy and Binoo, this plasters the Spectra Animation logo but keeps that logo's audio. The two sync up pretty well.

Scare Factor[]

The scare factor of the logo mostly depends on the logo's music.

  • Medium to high for the normal variant. The fast-paced animation, flashing, and sounds will be a problem to some. The scare factor will rise if you were expecting the Spectra Animation logo and you end up with this.
  • Low to high with the Bell Media music. The creepy theme is gone, but the logo will still have that seizure-inducing animation.
  • None to high with the Spectra Animation audio. The creepy theme is also gone for Toon-A-Vision's prints of Toopy and Binoo, but uses Spectra Animation's audio and the logo will still have that seizure-inducing animation.
