NOTE: Not to be confused with Carrey Video (Greece), although that logo stole from this logo's logomark and name (the latter being partial).

[]

(1984–1985?): On a black background, a white segmented "C" zooms out and stops in the center, almost taking up the whole screen. A blue one then zooms out, and merges with the white one, forming one blue “C”. As it happens, blue and white lines come in from both sides, filling up the holes, and white parallelogram segments appear until the “C” is covered. After it forms, the blue text "CAREY HOME VIDEO" fades in, outlined in white. A byline saying "A DIVISION OF CAREY COMMUNICATIONS LTD." also appears below in the same style, but smaller.

Music/Sounds[]

A long synth whoosh, then a shorter whoosh. This is followed by multiple "zaps" when the lines form the logo.

Scare Factor[]

Low to high. Although tamer than it's Greek ripoff, the logo suddenly forming with the zapping sound can be somewhat unpleasant.
