This is David Lynch's production company.
Logos[]
1st logo (January 8-9, 1993)[]
On a black background with lips we see the word "ASYMMETRICAL" stylized in a grey square like this:
METR
ICAL
Four letters line-by-line. We then see a strobe light-like flash as it zooms in as the letters spark. Then, the lips then say "asymmetrical" which appear to blur out over time.
2nd logo (February 21, 1997)[]
Basically, on a dark background we see this text:
M E T R
I C A L
stylized similar to the previous logo, but every letter is inside an orange square. The squares are at the right side of the screen, and on the left side we see the logo of Ciby 2000. Both logos are separated by a bar. Above the logos we see A and below we see PRODUCTION.
Music/Sounds[]
1st logo[]
Loud, thunder-like hissing/sizzling noises and a droning synth trill followed by a robotic voice (made by duplicating the voice and making the vocal duplicate 12 semitones lower) saying "asymmetrical" (which sounds more like "eggs are metrical"). The stock sound effect of electricity sparking and an eerie choir can be heard in the background too.
2nd logo[]
None.
Scare Factor[]
1st logo[]
Nightmare. The flashing, jarring appearance, dark color scheme, scary music, "V of Doom"-like zoom effects, evil-sounding robot voice, bizarre subject matter and exploding can be extremely unsettling. Also, the strobing may cause people to have seizures. It's worsened by the fact that this follows the quiet Propaganda Films logo. That said, this shouldn't be too surprising knowing David Lynch.
2nd logo[]
None. It's 100% tamer than the logo above, but it can be boring to some viewers.
