Background[]
Ambika Films is a Hindi-language film company in India.
1st Logo (September 17, 1993)[]
Visuals: In a pink-colored room with a brown circle with a weird symbol inside it is a close-up of a Durga statue. Under the Durga statue is "AMBIKA FILMS" in yellow text.
Technique: Live-action footage with chroma-keyed effects.
Audio: The stock swarmandal track used in many other Indian logos, e.g. Aarti Pictures.
Availability: Seen on Aag Ka Toofan.
Scare Factor: Medium, the close up of the god, with the music, is a bit creepy to some who seen this.
2nd Logo (July 19, 2002)[]
Visuals: Over a space background, the planet earth is seen at the center rotating. When it stops at Asia, it flashes and a God blowing a horn fade in on the earth as the italic, yellow, sans serif text "AMBIKA FILMS" ripples in under the earth as a comet flies around it. Seven stars appears left and right at the earth, shinning stars falls from the top upper part of the screen.
Trivia: This logo uses footage from the second Vyjayanthi Movies
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A loud dramatic fanfare, with a zap in the middle of the logo and a cymbal hit.
Availability: Seen on Border Kashmir.
Scare Factor: Medium to high, the loud fanfare, along with it's animation, is worse than the first logo. Although the stolen footage can make people laugh, it tames it down.
